I bought this car mainly because the Rover had died on me.  It was spotted on eBay and was listed for somewhere near £600 if I recall correctly and was ideal as the listing was ending that day and the car was a matter of minutes down the road.  I ended up purchasing her for £475.

Being a deisel engine the MPG was pretty good and the fact that she was a 2200cc meant she pulled like a train.  Very comfortable on long distance drives and very economical on both long distance drives and round town.

I had one problem with this car in the six months or so that I owned her and that was the dreaded water ingress.  Took me a good four months to trace the ingress to the gromit where the electrical cables run from the roof to the boot hatch.

I eventually got bored though so a new car was on the horizon.
